1255 Stephen ScheelThis is by far the best video editing software I have come accross. I Enjoyed the demo and was saving up for it and when i went to buy it, it was not there anymore. I beg you, Please make it GPL for windows and linux, or just give me the place to download it and the key. Thank you.
1256 Justin RhodesI am a Open Source Linux user and was actually going to BUY this software because of the reviews, please release thee Source so we can continue to enjoy this tool

1270 Julian RobbinsI bought a copy of MA 5.5, and bought it as I primarily use Linux at work and needed to do a little video editing. I bought it as there was (is ?) no decent reliable linux video editing software around. When I came back to use it a year later, i was surpruised that the product had been discontinued. Also, now that pulseaudio is being used in more and linux distros, Ubuntu and pulseaudio doesnt play well with MA5.5. Because of thsi and the fact that i didnt want to have timelines locked into a format taht I may not be able to use in the future, i chnaged to using kdenlive. Its promising, but not as featureful and far more buggy than MA. An open source MA would bring it to live, and get the name of MA back. What harm can it do? I bought an app, that must have been discontinued only months afterwards. What a waste ....
1271 Matias AresPlease Release the code, It will be a great step forward to the linux Growing.

1275 John HewishMainactor is a great peice of kit, and its continuation as free (as in free speech) would be great, since there is a distinct lack of great video editors in the free software world.
1276 Sam LummisLet your old code go to good use, open source developers would love to work with MainActor. Don't let us down!

1278 Mikhael KryukovFor me It's very important to have a solid-rock full featured nonlinear video editor for Linux with AVCHD and HDV support like Sony vegas because it is the only reason not to give up using windows...

1285 Matt BagleyIt's such a waste to send a good program to the trash. Why not give it to the open source community who will use it and improve it. That way all of MainConcept's effort will not be in vain. (And talk about some publicity!)
