Maidstone Borough Council has decided to close public conveniences at the shopping parades in both Park Wood and Northumberland Road, Shepway. It is also planning to close public conveniences in rural areas. Surely we are already paying for their maintenance in our council tax There has been no public consultation about these closures and no alternative arrangements have been made.
