The government confirmed they are launching the independent review we demanded. This outcome belongs to every one of you who stayed focused on this goal. Keep a close eye on the official reports as the new investigation begins.
We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister for an independent police inquiry into the disapperance of Madeleine Mccann.
Like many people world wide, we as members of the public who have followed the case of missing Madeleine McCann since she disappeared from the holiday apartment in Portugal on May 3rd 2007, would like to see justice done and the case solved. We feel that due to the amount of information which has been collated by the Portuguise Police Judiciary during their extensive efforts to draw the case to a conclusion which resulted in the files and evidence being archived that it would be in the best interest of all parties concerned that a completely independent non prejudicial Police Force Review the findings, files and evidence gathered by the Portuguise authorities. The Portuguise have archived the case files and evidence but it is known that anyone with a vested interest in Madeleine can apply to access this evidence. We feel that the Authorities have a Duty of Care towards Madeleine who is a British citizen and as such have a responsibility to help in the solving of this crime and that by reviewing the case it would either confirm or not confirm the Portuguise findings.
We just hit 100 signatures to push for this inquiry. Post this link on Facebook and email your representative to keep the pressure on the government.

We are approaching the one hundred signature mark and need a final push to hit this target before we contact the Prime Minister. Post this link to your Facebook page and text three friends who care about this case. We need this momentum to force a real review of the evidence.

I think about her all the time. Someone knows something and they need to be pushed to talk. Independent review is the only way.
