   Comments: NBPower is a most valuable asset..with immense potential for growth, continuing into several decades.....lets face the music and make plans to deal with the debt now....not sell it off in fear and panic, for that will be the biggest mistake ever, and wll go down in history as such . Quebec is not known for its patriotism& no matter what is written in a contract ...there are loopholes ..Any separation from Canada would mean major problems for us and others if NB power falls into their hands...

   Comments: I would like to voice my disgust with this "tentative" agreement of the sale of NB Power. Selling our assets to another province is ridiculous. If we allow this to happen, we will pay dearly and be the laughing stock of the country. The maritimes takes enough abuse as is, Quebec needs to run their own Power Plants and leave ours alone.

    Comments: A short while ago Premier Shawn Graham was on a hipe about the energy plans he had for NB...we were going to be the energy hub etc etc... Now he views our most valuable asset as a burden to taxpayers. How come he did not have the facts when he was on a hipe !... Its all well and good to have modified Plan A to B, but it still leaves Quebec the big winner of future benefits that is rightfully ours. .

    Comments: rolly, n.b is supossed to be the energy hub of the eastern seaboard. what will it be if quebec owns our energy. i am asking you to ask shawn graham if he is so confident in this deal than let him bring it to the people of new brunswick and let us vote. if he does this behind closed doors than in my opinion this liberal party is no different than communist china. yours truley, donnie winchester.

    Comments: Dear Mr. Macintyre As a citizen of NB I would like to express my concern on how the deal of NB Power is being handled by the Liberal government. My parent’s and my husband's parents are long time Liberals. I know for a fact both mine and my husband’s names are on your list of supporters as we receive a call from your campaign management team every election. I feel a decision of this magnitude should be brought to the people. I'm sure you are aware that many people are outraged with the sale itself, it goes back to that election promise made by your, (which I had a hand in electing), government that NB Power will not be sold. What other solutions were examined? We all know the status quo is unacceptable, but I cannot believe the sale is the only viable option available. Let the people see the deal, get some EXPERTS to review it, forget the spin and empower the citizens of NB. We are an intelligent group and can certainly make wise decisions when we have all the FACTS and FIGURES. I am appalled at the arrogance of this Premier and the methods he has been using to SELL THIS STEAL. Signed, Very Concerned about the Future of THIS PLACE
