What is the lagGate?
We are a group of Apple customers that paid more than 2000 USD/EUR for a Macbook that is not cable of handling high-resolution retina displays, introducing horrific UI lag system-wide.
The lag is present across all OS X platforms that support retina displays. It started with the introduction of the 2012 rMBP and since then it has not been addressed by Apple at any means, even though more than 4 iterations of OS X were released and more than a dozen new models of MacBooks emerged on the market.
