Our community has been inundated with an unusual high rate of home invasions, vehicle break-ins and theft during the past year and we are hereby petitioning our Congressman, DAVID SCOTT, and PHIL GINGREY, M.D. and the COBB COUNTY POLICE DEPARTMENT, to provide us with INCREASED POLICE VISIBILITY AND PROTECTION. We have always been very proud of our neighborhood which is well established with long-term residents with very little turnover and, as a result, has created a higher than normal number of elderly homeowners who feel very volatile and extremely afraid and we have had to resort to obtaining guns and other types of personal protection.
