    Comments: Opponents of raw-milk cheese, most of whom have vested interests, have for far too long used rhetoric laced with "listeria hysteria" to defend the indefensible. Their position and current government regulations deny Australian dairy farmers an opportunity to create highly value-added produce with potential for export to global markets. If we want our cheese industry to prosper and improve, then we must allow this basic progressionin our burgeoning artisanal cheese market.
