Name: Laura Farr on Jan 18, 2007Comments: There are between five and fifteen teenagers on my street skateboarding nearly every evening. They bring out old plywood and make 'ramps.' My street is very busy, it creates alot of turmoil, and patience is wearing thin. It would be better if these boys had a set destination of their own. They are causing no malice, but they are 'in the way.'Flag

Kids can still do other things while there and families i.e., beach, basketball, tennis, baseball, swings and there are bathroom facilites. Most importantly it is out in the open and not hidden(so that the children are safe and trouble and hanging out is less likely) My children would definetly use it!Flag

It is something that Bayville doesn't currently have and would be beneficial and positive for our community.Flag

Name: Sudha Prasad on Jan 18, 2007Comments: My kids love it and it would be great to have a safe place to do it. Kids do it around town and are at terrible risk for injury, so this would be a wonderful alternative. would there be an indoor feature as wellFlag

Name: Daniel Herschlein on Jan 20, 2007Comments: This would be an effective way to lessen the "problem" of skateboarding in these areas. The police make it very difficult for us to express ourselves in a way that we find most effective and a skateboard park would allow us to do this in a place that is legal and safe. It's a fantastic idea.Flag
