For years, with the wrong doctors I suffered incorrect medications and blame from physicians for my illness, and an overall lack of compassion. When I was uninsured, living with the disease was the worst, and Iive with gratitude to have good doctors, insurance, and a job that lets me go to treatments and get the care I need. We need greater understanding of this illness within the medical community and in society. It is bad enough to live with the disease-people don't need to suffer any extra hurdles for employment, healthcare or emotionally. I can't even imagine how children bear with this disease, living from very young ages.Flag
