Speed limit on the River Lune

The petition

We, the undersigned request that the council or the relevant authorities impose a speed limit of 10 mph on all private usage of the River Lune with the intent of reducing noise pollution from the increasing number of jetskis using the river, and also to protect the wildlife of the river, the salt marsh and the surrounding area from the disruption caused by the sometimes reckless usage of these obtrusive machines.
