56 Theo A.F. KuipersFull professor of philosophy of science, University of Groningen. Reading Ton Derksen's book convinced me that the case of Lucia de B. should at least be redone as soon as possible. Moreover, this case and other cases show that education in law should include some more education in scientific reasoning.

81 Judy Hill, counsellorIn Manitoba there have been 3 high profile cases of wrongful conviction within a few years. Each case, which resulted in long-term imprisonment for innocent persons, was based on circumstantial evidence. Lucia de Berk's conviction appears to have also been based on circumstantial evidence and needs to be reopened as soon as possible.

92 rob jonquiereCEO of NVVE, Dutch Righ to Die Society Given the excess in evidence speaking against the conviction of Lucia de B, it is unthinkable and unacceptable that her case would NOT be reopened in order to weigh ALL arguments in a way that is worthy for the constitutional state The Netherlands always suggest they are.
