Let's start with some facts..
1 in 20 children are sexually abused.
11.5% of young adults experienced physical abuse as a child.
50,500 children are known in the UK to be at risk of abuse.(Nspcc)
Lastly at least 1 child dies every week from abuse..
If these figures don't shock you I don't know what will and there on the rise.
Its time the British justice system took a good long look at how lenient the sentacing is for these crimes against are children..
My son's murderer could be out before his 38 birthday, he got sentaced to 17years.. Why should he get a 2nd chance in life my son hasn't he took that chance away from him.
