We need to keep the Cherokee Technology Center School of Practical Nursing open. It provides our area and surrounding other areas with LPNs' not only for hospitals but doctor's offices, assisted living and long term care facilities, Hospice and in-home health care agencies. A growing population in our nation today, is our elderly. It is our responsibility to care for them. This is a 2 year program that is available to high school seniors and adults at a reasonable tuition and specially for those who may not be able to afford to go to college. It allows us all to gain the skills and knowledge we need to be licensed as practical nurses and allow us to have access to entry level positions in the medical field. We the undersigned desire this program to be kept open.
