Lowville park is an ideal, safe place for people and dogs to conduct a regular exercise programme. Currently, park by-laws prohibit off-leash exercising of dogs. Anyone who cares for dogs knows that walking alone cannot provide the level of excerise that some dogs need to enjoy healthy and happy lives. Most dogs must run in order to adequately exercise. We, the undersigned, support the idea of providing designated hours during which dogs could be unleashed in the park under proper supervision and regulation provided by their owners.
