    Comments: It is unfortunate that in the recent years here at SMC, the higher the tuition becomes, the worse the quality of student services get, especially the support for international students. Plus, secretly raising tuition without a proper advance notice to students is almost FRAUD. SMC, did you almost forget that you're a public, government-funded organization And are you trying (and wanting) to lose the fame for being the community college with #1 international student population Personally, I enjoyed my two and a half years at SMC and it was the best experience. I still miss it a lot after transferring to Cal. I wish the current students were offered the same quality of service as I got. However, it seems this school has just become one school that I would not be recommending to my friends. Maybe SMC will be the new West LA College, which closed the international program. Sad
