This is a pettion to lower the school leaving age from 18 down to 16. School isn't easy for some people and we as a group of young people fast approaching the age of 16 feel that we should have the choice of whether we leave at 16 or not. Young people of the age of 16 could persue a career path in an apprenticeship or something else that wouldn't require an extra 2 years in education.Some people also have genetic disorders such as dyslexia and ADHD. These people can also struggle at school and so if they are forced to stay at school for another 2 years at school, it wouldn't benfit them or the people around them.
