I have started this petition as I feel it necessary to raise awareness of the danger of the road outside Aston Fence Junior and Infant School, Sheffield road, Sheffield South Yorkshire. Rotherham Borough Council do not seem to see that there is any danger and have so far refused to lower the limit to 30mph or even help with traffic calming measures such as a crossing. There are been a few incidents that have happened because of the speed of vehicles travelling past the school and I feel it is only a matter of time before there is a fatal accident.
