The Workers’ Party (WP) on Tuesday reiterated its call for a National Transport Corporation to "oversee and provide universal transport service to all". This Petition is to support the leader of WP, Mr Low Thia Khiang, as the new Transport Minister. If successful, other opposition party members should be appointed to cabinet post to enable them to contribute to national and societal interests of Singapore.
