Name: Peggy Kandies on Nov 5, 2005State: SCCountry: USComments: This should be stopped now before an innocent man will be put to death. I want to know how evidence can be ordered destroyed before his right to appeals are done. This is truly a miscarriage of justice in the worst kind. I have been writting to Robin and no one could convince me that he is guilty of killing anyone. Gov Warren You must stop this killing of a human, one of our own, Robin. If one women can get prayer out of schools, and one can change the way people ride a bus, why can't you change the way your state kills humans, why can't you have the courage to stand against the death penalty Gov Ryan had the courage to do what was right. The system is broken when an innocent man is killed to satisfy a prosecutor's lust for a judgeship. Even if Robin did kill someone, the state has no moral right to kill. Please don't kill Robin Lovitt in anyones name. Peggy Kandies SCFlag

Name: Brad Hogan on Nov 9, 2005State: SCCountry: USComments: Please don't execute a man where all evidence was destroyed. The witness was only 70 percent sure that Mr Lovitt was the man he saw commiting the murder and that was years later when he testified.Life imprisonment would be a much better option for people's concious in this specific case.Flag

Name: Nigel Baldwin on Nov 9, 2005State:Country: UKComments: When the State of Virginia voids justice in condemning this man to die, based on highly dubious evidence, justice is thereby voided not only for Virginia, but for the whole of the rest of the USA too. Yes, my country has miscarriages of justice as well, but thank God any errors it makes aren't wholly irreversible!Flag

Name: Michael Morrisey on Nov 11, 2005State: MACountry: USComments: Robin Lovitt's sentence to death should be commuted due to the incompitancy of the State and its prosecutorial staff. The State of Virgina, or Any State for that matter, does not need the blood of a man who could be proven innocent if the evidence were not destroyed by over zealous prosecuters on its hands!Flag

Chesterfield county has a prosecutor whos mother also does the forensics evidence as well. isnt that conflict of interest until the system can becoem flawless we as a nation have to do away with the dealth penalty. please dont execute this man . We owe the country honest justice not a painted pictureFlag
