We are angered that Warner Brothers has redesigned six of the original and most beloved Looney Tunes characters - Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Wile E. Coyote, the Tasmanian Devil, Road Runner and Lola Bunny - as part of a new cartoon show titled \"Loonatics\". The cartoon takes place 700 years into the future, the characters wear tight fitting clothes and have tremendous superpowers. We feel that Warner Brothers has sold out. For years children have had the joy of waking up to Looney Tunes on Saturday mornings watching for hours in their pajamas with their bowl of cereal, and parents never had to worry about the content.. When all the other cartoons on television became violent and ridiculous, Looney Tunes was the only one that remained which was \"innocent\" and \"clean\" enough for our children to watch. WB has now seen fit to fix something that wasn\'t broken in a ridiculous quest to appeal to today\'s children. We are not sure what children they wish to appeal to but we are certain it\'s not the children of mainstream America and it certainly isn\'t our children. In response to the WB\'s actions, we vow that if they do not reverse their decision and return these beloved characters to their original form, we and our children will boycott all WB cartoons, which in turn means we will not be watching the commercials that sponsor those cartoons and WB will most surely lose previous revenue. The Looney Tunes characters are innocent and so are children, let\'s keep them that way.
