    Comments: I have 3 hens where I live, they are better pets than dogs and provide me with enough eggs for our 3 person family.. They go in that night, no barking all night. They are cheap to feed and easy to maintain. They also keep the bugs down in the yard durning the summer. No reason not to have a small backyard flock if it is taken care of as any animals need cared for!
