Petition to Approve Ordinance Legalizing Backyard Chickens

We, the undersigned citizens of Longmont, Colorado, respectfully request or leaders to act now to change the City ordinance to allow up to 6 hens, no roosters in the backyards of residential zoning districts under certain restrictions. We feel this is necessary for the sustainability of our community, green living, education, children's activities and Local food supply. This step will contribute to the Boulder County Sustainability Initiative. Please hear our request.
