This petition is for members of the public from in and around Long Eaton to show their support for the buiding of a skatepark in the Long Eaton area.
We have no facilities and there are a large number of skateboarders, rollerbladers Etc. who would greatly appreciate your help in securing this in order to pursue and improve in our chosen sport.
At this moment the main area that people choose to skate is next to tesco garage in the town center which is neither safe for us or convenient for the public, while we try to stay out of the way this is not always possible and we do not wish to be a nuisance to the general public or for skating to be seen as anti social behaviour.
