Name: Donna Spicer on Aug 21, 2007Comments: The protection of Historic Status will also preserve the building for existing and hopefully expanded Community uses. The County has threatened to tear this building down in the past and has practiced demolition by neglect. We have nothing comparable to house the many uses already in place and additional unused space on the 2nd floor could greatly benefit our community.Flag

Probably have asbestos poisoning from venturing into the upper levels during my younger years . . . then again, that's probably true for half the people my age from the neighborhood! It would certainly be a shame if the school was ever raized.Flag

Name: Carmela Veit on Aug 21, 2007Comments: It is critical to our Baltimore County history to save this building symbolizing our recovery from the WWII and the expansion of Baltimore County communities. This was a vibrant new area of our county. Why do we need to throw away history Take pride in our beginnings as a county and vibrant school system.Flag

Name: Robin Williams - Beers on Aug 21, 2007Comments: This school is my old alma mater and holds many dear memories for me, as I am sure it does for many others. However, beyond my sentimental reasons, I think that this building is a significant landmark as a focal point for the surrounding community. Equally important are its politically historic distinction and its value for the beautiful, unique stone architecture. I certainly hope that our County will be proud to preserve this exceptional building as a landmark.Flag

Name: Bitten Norman on Aug 22, 2007Comments: This facialty was part of the original plan for Loch raven Vuillage and is of historical value. Destroying a part of history would devalue the neighborhood not only in dollars but in the integerity of quality . This building has always served as a hub for the whole community and should remain as such. Progress can be made without the destruction of existing historically significant structuresFlag

Name: Bitten Norman on Aug 22, 2007Comments: This structure was a planned part of the community at it's conception and should be saved. It has always been a hub of the entire community and progress can be made without the destruction of an historically significant building. It's destruction would lead to a decline to both the economy and integrity of Loch raven VillageFlag
