Name: Carol Oakes on Jan 3, 2013Comments: Please understand the community concern for environmental health issues. Our families depend on our govt to secure healthy water, soil and air quality. I am not against farming or small business, but we cannot sacrifice our families health. I do not support anyones gain at your neighbors expense.Flag

Name: Colleen Devlin on Jan 3, 2013Comments: I am in favor of this petition but with one caveat.... I believe the setbacks from residences should be equal to those for a school or hospital. We live in our residences every day. It's important that we all be protected equally.Flag

Name: Ernest R. Schnell RN, BSN, OCN on Jan 4, 2013Comments: given the detriment on the infrastacture of our county I am opposed to the construction of these barns. We already have times when the water pressure drops and it is difficult to keep the shower running, What happens when the barns come on. Also, who will be responsible for the upgrade in the road system to carry the increased large truck traffic? At the Salem end of SR160 there is a sign that warns large trucks to not use this road because of hills and sharp curves. Who is going to pay for the road improvements to sustain the barns?Flag
