Name: Anonymous on Jul 30, 2007Comments: We are not clerks and should not be treated as such. We are emergency services workers who are forced to work nights, weekends, holidays and bumped from shift to shift and center to center. We cannot choose our days off etc. We are now handling all cell phone calls with little or no assistance from the caller and/or ani/ali. We also have to struggle to handle more calls than before with a new computer system that takes at least twice as long, if not three or four times as long to do the same tasks as our prior system. We are under a lot more stress than clerical workers and handle life threatening emergencies on a regular basis. Not only should our pay reflect that but we also need to be able to retire with a decent pension after 20 years as a PSR because it is such a stressful position many of us are too sick to work much longer than that!Flag

Name: Desiree Jane Tobin on Jul 31, 2007Comments: I am requesting that we get a fair and new union to help us with our concerns. I personally have never had any help with some problems i have had in the past..i have been a psr for 10 years. I dont not like how lazy and how they (our union dosent stand up for our concerns) I would like someone else to be in the chair that cares of our concerns and comments. thank youFlag

Name: Kimberly Ganier on Jul 31, 2007Comments: We need a union that is tuned in to the scope and magnitude of the job we perform. We need a union that is willing to stand up for us and ensure we are compensated more-than-fairly according the job and workload we deal with. Our workload has increased significantly since we started taking celphone calls, and we should be compensated accordingly!Flag
