My petition is simple, I believe that we should make members of the government and the media live like everyday people for a minimum of 6 max of 8 months, and by this I mean collect the standard benefits for their circumstances, follow the rules that all unemployed people have to live by. pay bills apply for jobs and that they be monitored given a simple bank account and from this pay the mortgage if they have one or rent for the duration everything that entails being unemployed or working poor then report back.
explaining how they coped and what could be done to help those who have fallen through the cracks, not everyone who is unemployed is a lazy scrounger.
