Lesley Davies | In years to come people will be amazed that we allowed our heritage to disappear so easily.
Mark Williams | From the ouset this has been a crazy scheme, and should never have been allowed to even get this far!
Albyn Hall |
Mario | save little green st..
Janet Maitland | The proposed work is crazy. What can they be thinking of? This ancient, beautiful street should be protected, not vandalised.
Graham Manson | Is nothing sacred in this country?
PamelaDonner | Save Little Green Street
Gloria Mawji | This is an act of pure vandalism and must be stopped. As a resident of Lissenden Gardens, you have my complete support.
Suzanne Rimini | Please don't ruin this beautiful historic street
susan clarke | This can't be allowed to happen.
| 1761 | Andrew Bruce | If they can't build the development they want without causing this much disruption and possible damage to these houses, they should build something that is appropriate - like recreational space.
After it is built, how will they access the estate and the car park - up Little Green Street or by some other access road? If it is the former, how can they think it is appropriate to allow so much domestic traffic and deliveries up and down such a small street. If it is the latter, they should build the access road first - as they did at the Westfield development at White City. |
Samantha Covington | Either find an alternative entry to the site, or an alternative use for it. To use Little Green Street is madness, and well nigh impossible I should have thought.
Frank Parrish | Doesn't "Little Green Street" say it all?
Simon Ridgwell | Don't let the developers trash Londons heritage!
michelle robinson |
faye harbron |
Maggie Poole | It's a bloody disgrace that these listed buildings should be subjeted to this kind of abuse from heavy plant/building vehicles. I live in a village called Stanwell, which is on the outskirts of Heathrow, the constant cargo lorries were either, getting stuck in the small high street or the weight was found to shaking the foundations of the georgian buildings and endangering them. Now the lorries are banned. Why should 10 Grade II listed buildings be sacrificed for the sake of a developer access and the fact he wants to make tonnes of money selling 30 dwellings, why is there no other access road? There must be a road to allow normal vehicles to turn into this site.
Sandra Dixon | Britain is proud of its heritage, so please don't take more of it away by abusing a very special place. Regardless of the heritage aspect, this is people's homes too!
Rhonda Lane | Little Green Street is a piece of our history! Leave it be! What they are suggesting is wrong and clearly not rationally thought out at all!
dan |
Scott George |
| 1772 | Guy Fisher | This is a beautiful street and is far too narrow for so many trucks to be passing up and down five days a week for four years.
I cycle down this street every day to and fro work. I have done now for almost 5 years. Local families and children from the nearby estate use Little Green Street as a thoroughfare to the main road, local schools and Hampstead Heath.
This really is a ssnseless development which will make life intolerable for those who live on the street and the nearby estate. |

Sandra Marshall | Those houses will not survive all them lorries up and down. It's about time we looked after our heritage not destroy it
Claire Harrison | This is madness!! Our heritage is so precious we aren't new in Britain and thats the way we like it :O)

Catherine Donner | Another daft idea from greedy developers and idiotic planners!
Melanie | This must not happen. Once a building is gone it can never be replaced. Leave this lovely street alone.
Dudley Hamilton | Always try to hold on to our Heritage. Big money just wants more money with no regard!!!
Amanda Stitson |
Helen Lonsborough | Totally senseless!

| 1796 | Fiona Hennah | I am horrified to read of the plans sugested for Little Green Street, surely somewhere SO special should be preserved, and not totally devastated. I am very strongly AGAINST any development there.
