We\'re wanting Kansas State University to have some ownership in the process of collecting textbook information that will be made free and available to ALL students. K-State should no longer outsource this process to a third party, which ends up costing students more money on textbooks.
I have been hearing from so many students who are tired of paying extra fees just to see what books they need for class. The university is staying quiet for now but we are keeping the pressure on them to prioritize our wallets over a private company.

Seeing this momentum grow feels personal because I know how much those extra costs hurt students who are just trying to get through their classes. This surge of support shows that we are all tired of paying more for a system that should be simple and fair.

Textbooks are already way too expensive. We should at least be able to see the lists without paying more money.

KSU needs to step up and handle this. Stop letting third parties gouge us.

Ridiculous that we have to pay extra fees just to see what books we need for class. Fix this asap.
