LISD is opening a new Elementary School which forces the district to rezone the current Elementary Schools boundaries. The parents of Knowles Elementary would like to call on the LISD School Board members to take action and balance socioeconomic percentages. We believe with the current growth and development in our community LISD is responsible for making a change to improve all schools in our community. At this time the current proposal submitted to the public addresses the needs for our school and the surrounding schools. We support the zoning committee's current proposal and ask LISD Board members to vote in its favor.
