Name: Marjorie Roome on Nov 1, 2007Comments: Yes, I use Ubuntu Linux and the Epiphany browser to read the BBC web site including multimedia even though Realplayer/Helix support for Linux 64bit is poor. Our household has 4 PC users, One uses Mac, one uses Ubuntu Linux, one Vista and one XP. Only 25% aref us is supported by the BBC iPlayer.Flag

Name: Dave Page on Nov 1, 2007Comments: If there are only 400-600 GNU/Linux users accessing the BBC website, then I work with about 10% of the BBC's GNU/Linux readership! Don't forget that many people change their browser User-Agent to Internet Explorer on Windows to get around broken websites...Flag

I know that there are about 200 Linux users in my workplace (European Bioinformatics Institute) most of whom will use the BBC website, and there is another similar academic institution on site (Sanger) who have about double this number of Linux computers!Flag
