2752 Sharaf F. Al-SharifI've been using Linux for more than 3 years now, and it has been annoying to have to find workarounds to access meida on the BBC site.

2754 AnonymousI use Linux and I have a BBC licence. If the BBC won´t permit me the full use of the multimedia facilities, will I get a discount?

2760 Crayon Shin ChanI had high hopes and respect for the BBC when they announced the Dirac project. But that changed when they somehow quietly dropped it in favour of proprietary formats.

2764 P StearMy browser is set to identify itself as windows due to the large number of sites that are windows specific. So when I look at the BBC site it is not registered as linux.
2765 AnonymousThe web is evolving rapidly, new device types such as ultralaptops, PDAs, phones emerge monthly. Do not get stuck in a old fashioned XP or Vista only rut.
2766 AnonymousJust another one

2776 AnonymousAs a Canadian, in Japan at the moment, using Firefox under Ubuntu, I am considering no longer bothering with the BBC, especially in terms of video, etc., since there are DRM free versions in many other places. Go ahead, shoot yourself in the foot and alienate current and future linux users.

2780 Dominik Fuchs
2781 Fiona Mc CannI regularly surf the bbc site using ubuntu 6.10
2782 Alf DawsonI use BBC websites everyday, morning and evening as my main source of news. My first recollection of BBC radio is a program called " The Plums", broadcast around 1933, check it out . Now as a golden oldie Linux user I request some consideration from the BBC head of technology.

2792 Thomas DanielThere are certainly more than 600 linux users who visit your website. If you are relying on reporting statistics of browser data you are daft. Your website will not function unless my browser reports as a win32 client
