| 2656 | conrad linde | Linux although behind windows and apple in terms of numbers of people using the respective platforms, represents a much higher market share than the bbc imagines/supposes. I hope that this petition will help the bbc recognize this fact.
As an equal opportunities company i would hope that the bbc would not prejudice against those trying to redress the windows monopoly or enjoying using a different computer environment for whatever reason, by being user friendly only to certain operating systems and not others...
here's to raising Linux awareness... Cheers! |

To be fair, I don't really need iPlayer as I already have MythTV. |

| 2691 | Zachary Voase | Yeah, I go on BBC and I know I'm not 0.25% of all users who run Linux! Someone needs to seriously review their /var/log/apache2/access.log! |

I'm sure you use Linux as servers, and am 100% sure you use FOSS technologiies. Maybe you should give something back to the community. |

| 2695 | Wayland | I don't think the BBC should be concidering Linux users, nore Apple users nore Windows users. The Internet should be operating system neutral. The BBC is funded by us licence payers so should not be promoting comercial interests such as Microsoft and Real Networks. It annoys me that Windows Media Player and Real Player are the only options, why can't I just use the player I want. |

| 2697 | Rik | Hi
I'm a converted Linux user as no longer can I afford to run a Microsoft inspired PC. My Linux P.C is brill and cheaper and I heard it is more enviromentaly friendly too.
My wife uses it, my best mate andhis brother. I am also going to use it at my church and work as its free!
Shalom
