Hello my name is Nicolas Deiss-Eagan I am writing this petition because I believe that community gardens are an important step that our society must take in order to achieve a symbiotic or sustainable relationship within our environment. I know what you are thinking, Nick how many community gardens are there already didn't i see one in sugar house the other day and I swear there's about a dozen on the west side of town. Why should we make another one here ? I already have a garden and so do all of my friends. Well listen up my Bio-Buddy's, I have one too. However this garden isn't really for us. It's for the many people in the avenues that are rentees, and many have incomes below the amount neccessary to sustain thier families without government aid of some kind. These people would benefit from a community garden here in the avenues just like the folks in Glendale have.
