Comments: Ken'ishi Matsuyama should be the one to play L in the American spinoff. Another American remake of a Asian film starring a caucasion actor will only enrage the Asian American population and bring down your ratings. Having Kenichi Matsuyama play L will only bring forth more people to watch the movie in theatres. Thank you.

Comments: I really want Ken'ichi Matsuyama to play L in the American version. He really fits the role and besides he seems to know how to speak english. Since I saw him L: Change The World.

Comments: I'd rather not see DN remade in America.. but it would make the thought of it so much less detestable if Matsuyama was casted as L for the US version as well..

Comments: Zac Efron is definitely not a good choice for the role of L. Please do not cast him as L. Matsuyama is the only one who can play L.

Comments: Kenichi Matsuyama is by far the best choice to have. One of the main reason why the Death Note Live action movies have been so successful is due to the character of L. Matsuyama has portrayed this character so unique (and original) that no one can replace L. Please consider him for the role of L.
