Comments: Please, L is orginally Japanese. And seeing as how great Kenichi Matsuyama has portrayed the character L Lawliet, it is only right that he should play L in the new remake.

Comments: Please allow Ken'ichi Matsuyama to be casted as L, bc he did such a great job in the Japanese version of Death Note 1+2, and I believe that the American remake will be very famous if he can play L again.

Comments: I would want Matsuyama Kenichi as the role of L. He is capable and the most suitable actor for L and if the actor would change to a different person, I think the ratings and the fans would be upset.

Comments: Honestly, I dislike the idea about U.S to make their own Death Note. They are like copying the ideas of the real death note. But anyway, I want Ken'ichi Matsuyama to play the part of L in the U.S death note.

Comments: I don't think anyone else could play L other than Kenichi, I think if he isnt casted as L in the U.S Death Note, the popularity of the movie will be effected. Why do they even need to make an American one Werent the Japanese ones good enough! Pffft...

Comments: Kenichi has L's passion. He is the closest to L in the original manga. He should be the one playing as Zac Efron is too normal looking not suitable to be L

Comments: Please use Ken'ichi Matsuyama for the role of L in your Death Note movie. Although he is Japanese, he has a pretty good English build up. He has played in both Death note movies, and he has played in the most recent japanese movie called L:change the world, which is a semi-sequel (in my opinion) to the 2nd death note movie. Once again, please consider Ken'ichi Matsuyama as a candidate for the role of L in your Death Note Movie

Comments: Matsuyama is a very talented, dedicated actor. He goes to great lengths to prepare for roles. In past projects, he's learned how to play guitar, sing, and play wheelchair basketball- simply to make all of his roles believable. Your remake's success will greatly depend on the actor who plays L, as he is easily the most popular character in the series. Not only will fans of the original manga and movies be more supportive of an American remake if Matsuyama Ken'ichi reprises his role, but new viewers will be drawn in by a movie with a strong cast, of which Matsuyama, of course, should be a part of.
