Comments: I believe Blanche Lincoln would hold true the values needed and desired by US citizens who are fed up with the deception that is currently running rampant in the white house. She would be a wonderful choice, complete with integrity, honesty and a faith in all of mankind; old, young, black, white, red purple or whatever. She is a down to earth woman with a head on her shoulders. She does not strike me as a yes person nor a person to sacrifice her own beliefs to get a vote. I would be proud to have her as a president. I have met her before in DC and look forward to meeting with her again.

Comments: I am gay but I don't mind that gay rights are not listed in the above bio. I would rather have a moderate Democrat for Prez than any Republican other than Gulianni.

Comments: Abraham Lincoln's 200th birthday celebration is kicking off in Feb of 2008. What a time for another person named Lincoln to run. Plus she seems reasonable, articulate, southern, and so forth.

Comments: "Recently large demonstrations have taken place across the country protesting the fact that Congress is finally addressing the issue of illegal immigration. Certain people are angry that the U.S. might protect its own borders, might make it harder to sneak into this country and, once here, to stay indefinitely. Let me see if I correctly understand the thinking behind these protests. Let's say I break into your house. Let's say that when you discover me in your house, you insist that I leave. But I say, "I've made all the beds and washed the dishes and did the laundry and swept the floors; I've done all the things you don't like to do. I'm hard-working and honest (except for when I broke into your house)." According to the protesters, not only must you let me stay, you must add me to your family's insurance plan and provide other benefits to me and to my family (my husband will do your yard work because he too is hard-working and honest, except for that breaking in part). If you try to call the police or force me out, I will call my friends who will picket your house carrying signs that proclaim my right to be there. It's only fair, after all, because you have a nicer house than I do, and I'm just trying to better myself. I'm hard-working and honest ... um, except for ... well, you know. And what a deal it is for me!! I live in your house, contributing only a fraction of the cost of my keep, and there is nothing you can do about it without being accused of selfishness, prejudice and being anti-housebreaker. Did I miss anything Does this sound reasonable to you If it does, grab a sign and go picket something. If this sounds insane to you, call your senators and enlighten them because they are stumbling in the darkness right now and really need your help."

Comments: I grew up in Arkansas and my parents still live there. I think having a woman in the seat as president would be beneficial change that this country needs. I am in no way, shape or form a feminist, but so far all the previous male presidents have done nothing but put the Presidency to shame with all of the scandals and side agendas. We need some one who thinks of the USA, not some one who wants to protect every one else's rights but our own. Because of Bush, thousands of Soldiers have died. This problem could have easily been solved, but because he was afraid to do what was necassary, FIVE years after 911 we are STILL in a foreign country dying. Maybe such a Drastic change as having a female president is what we need. I support you. Christina Sikes USN

Comments: This is ridiculous. Please give this up now. Democratic time and effort and money should be concentrated only on candidates who have a chance to win. Please support one of those other candidates now.
