This petition is to get control of costs and spending by our elected officials for travel. President Obama and his family have abused the right for free travel funded by the U.S. tax payers. My estimate that his travels have cost more than a billion dollars in the past four years. Travel includes costs for air, rail, ship for his travels, the family's travels, and the cost of all support required when they travel to support him and the family. At a time when the U.S. is bankrupt, we need leadership from the top in reducing the cost of government to the tax payers. This petition also includes reducing and limiting the travel costs of all elected officials and appointed officials of the U.S. Government.
