  1. The Concordia Expansion will bring an additional 2000* daily trips (5500 total daily) into and out of campus with NO TRAFFIC PLAN FROM THE CITY. * recently reduced but still too high!
  2. The Concordia Expansion will INCREASE the number of events held at the University with NO TRAFFIC PLAN FROM THE CITY.
  3. The Concordia Expansion includes an 400 seat concert hall that will increase traffic with NO TRAFFIC PLAN FROM THE CITY.
  4. The Concordia Expansion will support D2 sports events adding lighting to 8 athletic fields on campus up to 38 poles ranging from 40 to 90 feet in height with associated noise and traffic.

All of this impacts the traffic, quality of life and home values in Turtle Rock.

By signing this petition, I urge you to vote NO until the traffic problem is resolved.

You are spot on!! There is NO CAP to the number of university events and with the NCAA designation, the number of events will be immense - including buses, etc. They need to consider holding all sporting events at the Great Park and then the campus lights won't be necessary!

The entry to Concordia from Ridgeline was supposed to be used only by the homeowners and not the students. There is an alternative entrance for students. A traffic light on Ridgeline will be a major impact to the residents that live further uphill.

The Homeowners Association and Board of Directors of Turtle Rock Pointe are opposed to the addition of a traffic signal on Ridgeline Drive at Concordia. With only 12 car lengths between that intersection and University Drive, it would be an operational impossibility.

What do the residence of Turtle Rock do during an emergency evacuation, similar to the fires in the 90's. Wait for the school evacuate first and the uphill residents second? Do you have an emergency plan. If you do, what is the plan?

May one assume that the City's reason for doing a traffic flow count during the period of our City's Easter/school breaks will be followed and compared with an identical traffic flow count during peak traffic seasons in order to have a complete and more usable set of data for addressing our traffic gridlock??

It seems our community of Turtle Rock is being used as a crossroads. We are an established community, built out. Adding more traffic is an unethical imposition on we who bought with the stability in mind.
