Name: Marilyn McPherson on Mar 26, 2007Comments: It's sad to see the day when Bell would treat their employees in such a disrespectful way. The majority of the employees have given their lives to building up of this company and when they should be looking forward to their retirement they are told that they are screwed by the company that we used to consider family. There are companies out their that pay 100% for medical and dental. Shame on you Bell.Flag

Name: Marlene Klowak on Mar 27, 2007Comments: I think that the company that I trusted is no more. They have out sourced many of the departments and I'm sure there is alot more to come. What has happened to keeping the Canadian economy going. They have lost a lot of crediblity with their employees and with the public. Service has gone down the tubes, and I don't think that there is anything in the near or distant future that will repair this. NOT WITH THE DIRECTION THE COMPANY HAS CHOSEN TO TAKE..............................Flag

Name: Teresa Patrick on Mar 27, 2007Comments: I vote you take my benefits away now as I don't need them. I will however need them when I'm old. The government plans don't cover glasses or dental. Bell Canada is abusing their employees with harassment tactics. Retire now, or lose everything. What a concept. If Sabia hadn't taken his millions in compensation, maybe we'd have enough.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Mar 27, 2007Comments: I can't believe that the executive team feels the only way to make Bell 'profitable' is to keep hacking away at the compensation for all employees except themselves. I guess when your pension is a couple hundred thousand dollars a year and your severance package is worth millions, you don't have to worry about paying for medical bills. Michael Sabia, Leo Houle and the guys at the tops have been working really hard to let employees with a lot of service know just how much they despise them. First they got rid of the Paid Absence prior to pension (no one else offers that don't you know!), then Patrick Pichette informs us that there will be NO MORE packages (except for the executive team) and now the benefits. I wonder why they are opening up the window for the DC pension plan again-are the DB pension payments next Shame on the guys at the top-maybe you ought to look at cutting the number of VP's-there appears to be a new one every few weeks, and how about cutting back on your bloated salaries and perksFlag
