I have just read about a 5 year old boy, Tyler Wheelan, who has been beaten to death by his mother's partner, he was bitten, bruised, he had 18 injuries on his body and had his leg broken over a matter of time. The monster who did this received 17 years 6 months in prison. I believe a person who can inflict such pain and suffering on a poor defenceless child should be put in prison for the whole of their life with no remission.
