Please support our campaign to make all dog trainers licensed.

At present anybody who thinks they know about dogs can set up as a dog 
trainer. By licensing all dog trainers hopefully we can weed out the trainers
who use out of date physical methods.

Time after time I am seeing dogs that have been subjected to prong 
collars, check chains and electric collars by other trainers. The owners of 
these dogs are not at fault because they trust the advice of a paid 
professional. It is not until the dogs start showing increased aggression,
fear, medical problems etc that the owners begin to seek second opinions.

I believe there is no place in dog training for the use of force or pain 
compliance to get a dog to either stop or complete behaviours.

Rules and regulations need to be implemented to ensure that dogs are not 
subjected to out of date, physical training methods and the only way to 
ensure this is to make all dog trainers licensed.
