The purpose of this petition is to demonstrate our support for Coach Hill and our appreciation for all the contributions he has made to students, their families and Lakeside. He is the epitome of a role model; strong in character and steadfast in his values. He is the epitome of a teacher; leading by example, always first to congratulate any success and never missing an opportunity to impart knowledge. He is the epitome of a coach; hardworking, passionate and competitive. He is the epitome of Lakeside; holding well-roundedness above all else. Coach Hill has been an invaluable asset to the students past and present at LHS. Future students should not be deprived of the presence he brings to those halls and those athletic fields he helped build. For these reasons and more we request that the Columbia County Board of Education and Principal Jeff Carney reinstate Coach Hill as Athletic Director and Head Football Coach. They are positions he has more than earned with his twenty years of unwavering and sacrificing service. This petition will be mailed and e-mailed to Principal Carney and the Superintendent within the next couple of weeks.
