Name: Dawn Bowman on Nov 5, 2009Comments: It is time for full equality for ALL Americans. The Civil Rights Act of 1964 must be expanded to include LGBT Americans. Quite frankly, I am tired of being treated as a second class citizen!!!!Flag

Name: Rebecca Allen on Nov 5, 2009Comments: It is time - it is long past time. I love this country and it enrages me that I have none of the rights my fellow countrymen have long since taken for granted. The Democratic party is in a position to rectify this and make right a terrible wrong. We will not wait patiently for our turn at the table. We are here, we earned this spot and now we want what we came for and what we are so deperately hungry for - full citizenship in this United States. It is time and we will ask for nothing less than the expansion of the 1964 civil rights act to include sexual orientation. We are done waiting. Sincerely, Rebecca AllenFlag

Name: Richard Gaylor on Nov 6, 2009Comments: It is time to uphold the words of of our fore fathers and Constitution: "WE hold these truths to be self evident that ALL men are created equal and endowed with certain unalienable right: LIFE, LIBERTY, and the PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS." Either we honor the laws and freedoms of this land or we slide back into a aristocratic land of the few dictating to the majority--the direction we are sadly heading. The richest and the church dictating the rules of life for the masses. How sad to revert to oppression once again.Flag
