I will also base my decision in buying a new phone based on that matter. Please LG, unlock the bootloader. Think about the positive sign you would show, a lot of enthusiasts recommend hardware to their friends and family and this will effect your sales positively
Would be really great to have it unlocked so devs would have much easier job. As it's already pointed out - ppl always find work around - so better open it.
It's time for this. The G2 is 2 generations old, so it's fair to say that the majority of the current owners are well past their carrier's warranty period. You can't use that excuse any more.
An unlocked bootloader would be most appreciated. After all, we purchased the phone and should be allowed to install software onto it. Thank you.
I own a lot of lg hardware, 2 smartTVs, 2 phones and one tablet. I will consider my next purchases on LG attitude to his customers regarding this mater. Regards

We should be to choose what we do with OUR phones that we paid a lot of money for
