We need to address the issue of uptown parking and how it is affecting business in Lexington NC. If the city wants more people in uptown doing business limit the public from parking? We need to make customer parking more readily available. We need change. A few ideas : Merchants need their own parking to operate stores. Why punish the store operators by not allowing them to park at their own business? I suggest a merchant parking pass. Increase the time allotted to each parking spot. Eliminate the meter maid position.
