Name: Robert Light on Oct 29, 2012Comments: This recommendation by the administrators is because they want to save the A&E and Maternity at Woolwich Hospital which is diabolical. Woolwich Hospital is an inferior Hospital and would not be able to cope. Its ratings are one of the lowest. Lewisham on the other hand has one of the highest ratings of any hospital in the country and the money that has been spent on this hospital justifies it to continue to supply the finest A&E and Maternity unit in the Country.Flag

Name: Sharon Page on Oct 29, 2012Comments: This hospital is essential to the people of Lewisham in an emergency QE would be too great a distance to travel 250,000 people rely on Uni Hosp Lewisham. QE would be unable to cope with the additional footfall. Lewisham Hospital is not in administration and it is outrageous that that the people of Lewisham should loose these essential services due to mismanagement elsewhere.Flag

Name: Janice Huke on Oct 29, 2012Comments: The Modernization of Lewisham Hospital A&E has just been compleated. A LOT of money has been spent on this much needed A&E department ! How ridiculous to now even think about closing it.It serves a highly populated area with young & old .It is always busy & served well by london transport. It is efficient, but most of all it is needed.! It MUST remain !Flag
