   Comments: The Clifton family have lived in the area for generations, and have always relied on Lewisham Hospital to provide healthcare. To close it would be a crime. If they do close just wait to see who redevelops it!!!

    Comments: Proposals to axe services at Lewisham hospital make no sense whatsoever, either financially or medically. Why is it planned to rob this hospital in order to make up shortfall randomly elsewhere in the system? This is a line that must not be crossed. Have not encountered one single argument giving credibility to these ridiculous proposals, especially given that the A&E has only just been refurbished. I know this hospital very well. My extended family have been born there, treated there and died there. If this weren't so serious I'd believe it was a joke.... Madness.

    Comments: My mum lives in Lewisham and worked for the NHS for over 40 years. I thinks its disgusting to propose these changes to A&E and maternity services for our local hospital which serves the local community, which has a sizeable BME and older population. Lewisham Hospital has been performing well and it's not fair that this hospital, and the people it serves, should be treated this way because of hospitals that are underperforming elsewhere. Put resources into improving those hospitals rather than taking resources away from Lewisham.
