Comments: It is appalling that the people of Lewisham should be threatened with withdrawal of these services, given that the hospital has been successful in the provision of their services and others have not.

Comments: As a Lewisham resident, I am appalled that my local hospital, where my children were born and our family have been treated is threatened with imascalation due to financial failures at a neighbouring NHS Trust. It is no different to having to pay off the credit card debt of a family up the road when you have lived within your means and they spent like drunks. It is just not fair or right.

Comments: Lewisham hospital is i high achieving hospital, and gives a very good standard of care to the community of Lewisham and surrounding areas. It will be a very shortsighted decision to start dismantling parts of it, as others hospitals such as Bromley are a breaking point and will be unable to cope. I also believe it will put the lives of the people who rely on it at risk. Please think again.

Comments: Lewisham hospital should remain open as there aren't enough A&E's in the local area - Guys is too far away for some and the Princess Royal in Bromley would struggle to coop. Also both Guys and the PRU are both quite a distance for elderly people to travel to

Comments: Although I live in SE18 I can see that the burden on the Queen Elizabeth A & E would be ridiculous and result in the loss of life. This isn't a question of centring services around centres of excellence; this is a question of cutting general services while putting no other general services in their place - services that are already swamped by demand.

Comments: Lewisham intensive care unit saved my daughters life 3 years ago. Closing this hospital will put children's lives at risk as they have to travel further A further four miles to travel to Woolwich in congested London is equivalent to a 20 mile journey anywhere else.
