    Comments: it is simply outrageous a hospital that is delivering, improving and very important to the local area, with great transport links (important for sufferers and family alike) is on the line! We do not understand and definitely do not approve. Furthermore could you promise and swear that the government will give all funds necessary to compensate for that huge loss? And what about distances to go to replacement hospital? It is definitely not a rational, nor sound decision. And as tax payer, hugely oppose this ridiculous 'plan'. Carole

    Comments: An essential service for a densely populated region. It is and has been a life line for our family. We have received fast, effective, efficient and caring treatment from all the professional involved in our daughters care. So wrong to penalise a hospital that is providing excellent care and within budget to bail out failing hospitals elsewhere.

    Comments: The A&E and Maternity Departments at Lewisham are highly respected and serve a dense population, many of whom would suffer enormous hardship by having to travel to Woolwich for these services. I disagree with the administrator's financial reasons for closing these departments.

    Comments: It is disgraceful that a hospital that has just had so much money invested in it is being closed in the very departments that have money spent. But WORSE THAN THAT - the performance is so good that it is just not good management or common sense to close. If extra housing is put on the site this will also result in even MORE people not being able to access emergency services. The limit has been reached - STOP NOW before lives are lost!!
